The following is my updated list for the Spring Reading Thing 2010 post.  Tomorrow, being June 20, is the last day.  Since tomorrow is Sunday and I am usually really busy on Sundays, and tomorrow is Father's Day I will be busier, so I am making my post tonight so all I have to do is link it when the main post is posted.  I did finish every single book on my list with plenty of time to spare.  A few of the books I could not finish and I will just leave those out of this list and list the ones that I did read.  If you would like to check out my original list, click here.

What was your favorite book that you read this Spring?  That is a really hard question to answer.  I read other books that aren't on this list also because I didn't add them to it once I finished the books on this list.  But from this list I would have to say that A Princess Found by Sarah Culberson was the best.  It was such an emotional story and true!  It was interesting to learn a lot about her native culture in Africa.  She was a princess of a tribe there.  Her story about meeting her biological family and father kept me interested all through out the book, and wanting even more!

My least favorite would have been Do You Mind if Your Kids Don't by Bill Rice III.  It is a Christian parenting book, but there was nothing new in it for me.  And just boring to tell the truth.

Did you discover a new author or genre from this Spring?  Did you love them or not?  The author that I discovered was Tricia Goyer.  I found her online, I don't remember now where it was first.  But she is a Christian author.  I friended her on facebook and learned more about her books and I wanted to read one.  I looked and looked for that book, I finally found it!  I was so excited to read it that I think I read it right away and didn't put it on my To Read Shelf like I do all of the other books.  I did enjoy her book!  I am now looking for her newest one out.

Did you discover something new during the SRT?  About reading?  Yourself?  A topic?  Well I re-read A Woman After God's Own Heart this Spring.  I think every married woman should read this once a year.  But some things were brought to my attention this time that I have been slipping up and doing that is negative towards my family.  That was something that I learned about myself.  

My favorite thing about the challenge?  I loved doing this with other people!!  It is so neat that this is done.  I can't wait until next Spring!
